The event dubed, “UCU Alumni Meet,” is targeted at bringing together all graduates of UCU on Thursday October 25.

It will be held at the Archbishop’s Palace in Namirembe between 6:00 to 8:30 and hosted by the Archbishop, Stanley Ntagali, who is both Chancellor and UCU alumnus, under the theme, “Building UCU.”

Patrobas Wafula, the speaker of the Alumni Association, said it is important for all the alumni to contribute towards building the next generation of leaders.

“Having benefited from the education at this university, it is important that we hold high the university in our hearts and support such developments. And this structure is one place through which future students are to identify with the alumni,” Wafula said.

UCU has over 70,000 alumni. The Alumni Secretariat believes if each of those contributed some small amount of money, the multi-million building would be erected within the shortest time.
