Doves, Ladies in big victory

BY FRED HIDULA The Doves have maintained a good run in the National Volleyball League after defeating Ndejje University by three straight sets to zero. The game was played on June 21 in Ndejje, Luwero District, but  the hosts failed to surpass the Doves. “It was not an easy win despite the victory but we used the   strategy      of  playing a fast game,” Samuel Engwau, one of the players reveals. The UCU Doves and Lady Doves both registered wins in the National Volleyball League (NVL) on August 31, at Lugogo Indoor Stadium. The Doves beat newly promoted Vision Volleyball Club 3-0 (26-15, 25-15 and 25- 23) in three straight sets while the Ladies beat Mulago Volleyball Club by the same score (25-15, 25-13, 25-13).
